Overview

Approach People Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent mid-sized global software development firm in search of a Sales Operations Manager. This role is pivotal, serving as the right hand to the VP of EMEA Sales. The ideal candidate will spearhead initiatives that enhance sales productivity and act as a strategic ally to the Go-To-Market leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee revenue processes to ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of sales metrics, dashboards, and essential business intelligence; suggest improvements to existing reports and assist in developing new reporting tools as necessary.
  • Administer and report on sales forecasts; promote the use of forecasting tools and dashboards within the sales team, ensuring integration with other planning processes.
  • Support all facets of sales planning, including annual strategy, territory design, and compensation plan development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for enhancing sales processes, collaborating closely with sales management to ensure quality.
  • Continuously improve enabling technologies, such as Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, and CPQ, to boost the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Lead the Sales workstream during acquisition integration to ensure seamless migration of data and processes.
  • Direct and support the consistent application of company initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales operations or sales finance, preferably in a fast-paced, Private Equity-backed environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales automation, metrics, processes, and productivity enhancements.
  • Strong collaborative experience with Go-To-Market leadership to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Familiarity with sales tools, with knowledge of Outreach or Clari being advantageous.
  • Experience in managing acquisition integrations.
  • Proven ability to manage reporting and analytically demanding projects.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented team environment.
