Position: Maintenance Planner (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

The Maintenance Planner will play a crucial role in formulating and overseeing maintenance strategies, ensuring the upkeep of master data in the maintenance database, and establishing maintenance timelines to guarantee the smooth operation of machinery and facilities.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Strategy Development
    • Design and execute thorough maintenance plans for machinery and facilities
    • Draft comprehensive work instructions and procedures for maintenance activities
  • Master Data Oversight
    • Ensure precise master data management in the maintenance database, encompassing equipment records and maintenance logs
  • Maintenance Timeline Management
    • Create and oversee maintenance schedules to ensure prompt task execution
    • Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities, minimizing operational interruptions
  • Work Order Administration
    • Generate, prioritize, and manage work orders for maintenance tasks
    • Ensure work orders are comprehensive and monitor their progress
  • Resource Allocation
    • Distribute resources (technicians, tools, spare parts) to guarantee successful task execution
    • Monitor technician availability and adjust plans accordingly
  • Documentation and Record Maintenance
    • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and ensure documentation is accurate and readily accessible
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related discipline; alternatively, relevant apprenticeship or vocational training in maintenance management
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a similar role within a manufacturing context
  • Proficiency in Maintenance Management Systems and best practices is essential
  • Familiarity with maintenance processes and systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to develop and oversee detailed maintenance schedules and work orders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction across departments
  • Capability to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure task completion
  • Fluent in both business English and German
