Tooling Designer

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Designer to join our dynamic team at designface GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing tools, jigs, and fixtures for assembly and production purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures using Siemens NX software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for existing products and designs.
- Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis during manufacturing execution and testing.
- Perform administrative tasks related to work and projects.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tooling design for assembly and production purposes.
- Proficient in using Siemens NX software for modeling, assembly, and drafting.
- Understanding of tolerancing systems and industry standards (GD&T, standard and supplier catalogues).
- Relevant knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, and processes (manufacturability, design to manufacture and design to cost).
- Excellent communication skills in English (min. B2 level).
