**Your Role**

We are seeking a highly qualified Process Engineer to join our team in Gelsenkirchen. As the technical enabler for all decarbonisation projects, you will be responsible for finding and applying technical solutions for the implementation of our growth projects with a special focus on production plants for electricity-based sustainable fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) or e-methanol.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Technical support and project management for our plant engineering projects, starting with technical concept development in project identification with our business lines, through the FEED phases to project execution
  • Independent technical coordination of process technology within interdisciplinary project teams, as well as with external partners and suppliers
  • Creation of technical concepts, studies and tender specifications as well as monitoring of contractors

**Requirements**

  • Completed technical studies specialising in chemical process engineering, process engineering or a comparable field of study
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in the design and planning of large-scale chemical plants, particularly interesting are plants for the production of methanol or ammonia
  • Extensive experience in project work and project management in international and multidisciplinary projects
  • Knowledge and passion in the fields of sustainable fuels / biofuels / e-fuels / power-to-liquid / hydrogen technology
  • Independent and solution-orientated way of working and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German
