About the Role

The Risk and Analytics Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Risk and Analytics agenda within the ADM Commodity Risk Middle Office. This team works closely with the commercial team to improve commercial performance while ensuring a controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage daily risk and analytics reporting packages
  • Assist in expanding and improving risk and analytics coverage
  • Provide insights and tools to support commercial teams in making informed decisions from a risk and reward perspective
  • Collaborate with traders to interpret valuations and develop next-generation models and analytics
  • Improve the risk and analytics technology platform for reliability, scalability, and quality
  • Conduct market research and analysis, providing insights on findings
  • Provide financial engineering, structuring, and valuation as needed
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with wider teams
  • Results-oriented, proactive delivery of goals
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Power BI, VBA)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytic, scientific, or engineering-related field; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred
  • Prior experience in a quantitative role within a trading environment or experience applying advanced quantitative techniques to solve complex problems
  • 3-7 years of equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of risk modeling and dynamics of linear and non-linear financial products
