Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Biomolecular Analysis Division, a division of the Diagnostics and Genomics Group. This is a great opportunity to build the next-generation technology of automated solutions in biomolecular quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software that collaborates with newly developed analytical instruments, working within a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Design and develop web applications in an Agile Scrum or Kanban lifecycle.
  • Develop front-end software that interacts with a back-end via web protocols, running on a Windows environment.
  • Take ownership for quality and timely delivery of products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent with sufficient industry experience.
  • Experience in software design and development of standalone or client/server software products, using web applications frameworks such as Angular, Typescript, and Javascript.
  • Experience in designing future-proof software architectures, including object-oriented programming methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with backend Microsoft technologies such as C#,.NET Framework, and.NET Core.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to work across multiple functions, businesses, and geographies.
  • Experience in development of software that interacts with hardware devices.
  • Knowledge of analytical instrumentation or life sciences markets.
