Avionics Systems Engineer

As a key player in our innovative team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing requirements at the system, subsystem, and equipment levels within the Avionics sector.
- Validating requirements and supporting verification processes.
- Handling problem reports and overseeing change requests for the designated systems.
- Conducting and facilitating design reviews for systems and components, both internally and with external suppliers.
- Assisting in development assurance activities, including system audits to demonstrate compliance with ARP 4754A.
- Leading data-bus design reviews, analyses, and testing.
- Generating compliance evidence necessary for certification, including test plans and analysis reports.
- Facilitating integration activities for newly developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment.
- Collaborating closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Engaging in communications with certification authorities.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in aerospace development.
- Expertise in Avionics functions and technologies related to communication, navigation, surveillance, and data recording.
- In-depth knowledge of ARP4754A and DO-160 standards.
- Familiarity with certification deliverables for Type Certificate programs in CS-25/23/29/27.
- Proven experience in requirements engineering using management tools such as Integrity or DOORS.
- At least 5 years of experience with data-bus technologies (e.g., CAN, A-429, RS-485).
- Experience collaborating with suppliers for specification-based development and COTS integration in aircraft systems.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with software and airborne electronic hardware standards such as DO-178 and DO-254.
- Experience in an EASA approved Design Organization (Part21J) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ARINC-825 Bus systems.
