Job Description

PPRO is a fintech company that provides digital payment solutions to businesses and banks, enabling them to scale their local payment services through a single connection. As an Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Global Finance team, responsible for managing our shared service accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop the accounting team in EMEA, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the daily accounts function, responsible for debtors, creditors, and asset accounting.
  • Define and manage best practices for each area of the accounting department.
  • Bank accounting for the main operating entities, including customer funds accounting.
  • Responsible for accurate monthly accounting for PPRO's entities, act as contact person for the auditors for year-end audit.
  • Support in production of annual statutory financial statements for EMEA entities.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in accounting, including experience at Big 4 audit firm.
  • Experience in managing teams.
  • Good know-how and experience in IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards (HGB, Lux GAAP).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with remote teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
  • MS Dynamics experience (not a must).
  • Excel skills (advanced).
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
