Job Overview

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Energy and Climate Managing Consultant to join our Europe and Middle East (EME) public sector team within our global Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure segment (ES&I). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing exciting projects around the transformation of the buildings sector towards climate neutrality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored solutions for clients in the buildings sector, leveraging your expertise in energy and climate analysis.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of consultants from various backgrounds, including engineers, natural scientists, and economists, to develop well-balanced and cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct data gathering and analysis, perform complex calculations and simulations, and gain experience in policy analysis and design.
  • Translate findings into meaningful technical and policy recommendations, report writing, and presenting to clients.
Requirements
  • University or University of Applied Sciences degree in a relevant field, such as natural sciences, engineering, or economics.
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in energy and/or climate analysis, including internships.
  • Passion for climate action, with a particular interest in decarbonizing the building and heating sector.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Fluent in German and English languages, with a high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally.
