For our operations, we are currently seeking a Logistics Planning Specialist (m/f/d) to join the Supply Chain team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Planning Manager.
As a Logistics Planning Specialist, you will collaborate with the Supply Chain Planning Manager, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to oversee Demand & Supply Forecasting while optimizing inventory levels across Amplifon’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance and streamline the demand and inventory processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions. Assess current sales and supplier demand forecasts to generate system-driven forecasts, analyzing historical demand, trends, and discrepancies. Work in conjunction with various departments (IT, marketing, sales, finance) to ensure high levels of demand accuracy and effective inventory management. Conduct comprehensive forecasting of sales and supplier demand. Maintain optimal stock levels to minimize inventory while adhering to Service Level Agreements. Monitor stock levels to reduce inventory across the network, ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements. Generate reports related to demand and inventory metrics by tracking key performance indicators. Oversee the Inventory Planning process to establish and execute inventory schedules and targets. Produce timely reports on forecast accuracy, detailing root causes and external factors impacting demand, while striving to enhance forecast accuracy. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. Assist logistics in creating reports and KPIs to monitor various indices.Candidate Profile:
A completed university degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Proven experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, and Forecasting within retail or large-scale distribution environments. Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical and mathematical modeling. Familiarity with key stock performance metrics, including turnover and margin contribution. Ability to leverage cross-functional skills to engage with diverse stakeholders to address medium and long-term inventory challenges. Comprehensive knowledge of stock management principles, including accounting and cost management. Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.What We Offer:
