Responsibilities
As a member of the GRF Germany Catering team, you will assist with:
- The planning, development, and implementation of innovative catering strategies and concepts
- Effective management of relationships between caterers, GRF, and both internal and external stakeholders
- Support in the contract management process, including preparing tender invitations, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and overseeing contract compliance
- Definition, support, and enhancement of operational processes
- Verification of invoices and optimization of costs
- Quality assurance, reporting, and analytical assessments
- General administrative responsibilities
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study include: Food Management, Gastronomy, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines
- Proficient in MS Office; experience in creating presentations and documentation; familiarity with SAP R/3 is a plus
- Strong command of German and English, both spoken and written
- Customer-oriented with the ability to work autonomously; goal-driven; assertive; organized; quick learner
- Additional: Strong business insight; prior experience in gastronomy or corporate catering is advantageous
About Your Team
The Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) team at SAP oversees the global real estate portfolio and operational facility management. We serve as an innovative and reliable business partner within the organization, developing modern, forward-thinking workplace and infrastructure solutions that embody SAP's core values.
Our responsibilities encompass managing facilities, services, real estate, and construction across our office buildings and data centers.
The regional GRF team is accountable for approximately 100 buildings in Germany, covering around 540,000 m2, in major cities.
Additionally, we manage the catering services for approximately 20,000 employees in Germany, which includes 17 cafeterias, 25 bistros, and around 100 coffee corners. We are seeking a proactive student with innovative ideas to enhance employee satisfaction to join our Catering / Food & Beverage team.
