Job Overview

TÜV Rheinland is seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). As a key member of our global team, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing vocational education solutions for diverse international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Your primary focus will be on the conceptualization, development, and effective execution of vocational training and advisory solutions tailored for educational institutions, governmental bodies, and industrial partners.
  • You will conduct thorough analyses of client requirements and tender specifications, crafting appropriate solutions while facilitating their on-site implementation, which includes establishing new training facilities, defining technical curricula, and selecting qualified trainers.
  • Building and nurturing both internal and external partnerships will be crucial, as you will also contribute to the technical aspects of related tender submissions.
  • This role involves considerable travel, both nationally and internationally, depending on project needs, with potential travel commitments reaching 50% of your time.
  • Expect to collaborate within a dynamic, international team that values your input and provides robust training and support. Engage in global projects that offer creative autonomy and significant impact.
  • Your work location can be flexible, allowing for positions in Germany or remote work from your home country.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A university degree in vocational education or a related technical field, complemented by 15 years of professional experience, ideally with 10 years in a senior project management role.
  • Proven experience in adapting technical solutions for TVET and implementing German vocational standards in international contexts.
  • A practical, solution-oriented approach coupled with strong project management capabilities.
  • Extensive background as a TVET consultant with a global perspective and familiarity with the German vocational education system.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Experience working with international teams and clients is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills in multicultural environments and a willingness to travel for work.
