IT Solution Architect Position at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH

We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect to join our team at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, a leading transmission system operator in Germany. As an IT Solution Architect, you will play a key role in driving the deployment of state-of-the-art IT solutions and creating synergies between two application landscapes within the European Elia Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in major transformation projects, integrating new IT solutions into the current application environment.
  • Identify business needs and propose modern IT technologies and solutions.
  • Define and design solution(s) and application(s) architecture in line with IT Group strategy and standards.
  • Ensure best practice deployment.
  • Collaborate on the IT roadmap definition and synergy initiatives at Group level to simplify and rationalize the IT landscape.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other IT stakeholders and the internal software factory.
  • Take charge of all integration aspects regarding the new application implementation and be active as an expert to relevant committees.
Requirements:
  • Several years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in integrating new solutions into existing systems.
  • Relevant experience in designing complex IT systems with broader experience in application architecture designing at functional level.
  • Knowledge concerning cloud environment as well as SAP.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and agile working style and attitude.
  • Language skills: English (C1), Deutsch (min. B1), French or Dutch would be a plus.
