Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AIT-Ingenieur (m/w/d) to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and execution of functional tests in AIT satellite programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of functional tests in AIT satellite programs
  • Verification and creation of test specifications
  • Collaboration with engineering disciplines to coordinate RF tests
  • Independent development of performance tests
  • Definition, creation, and execution of test procedures
  • Support for electrical integration activities, including data preparation, analysis, and evaluation
  • Documented test results and written test reports
  • Operation of satellites/instruments
  • Creation and analysis of satellite configurations and documentation
  • Independent fault analysis (NCR investigation)

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in functional/electrical satellite AIT
  • Experience in satellite communication encryption is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of signal generation and RF testing
  • Familiarity with TM/TC (PUS) of satellites/instruments is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
  • Java knowledge
  • Fluent German and English language skills
