Job Title: Director Procurement Direct Material International

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director Procurement Direct Material International to join our team at the Berner Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading and implementing strategic procurement initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective procurement processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Monitor and analyze procurement metrics to optimize procurement processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures, with a focus on cost savings and efficiency
