As a key member of the Chief Security Office (CSO) Third Party Security (TPS) team, the Cybersecurity Risk Analyst (Assistant Vice President) plays a crucial role in the advancement, implementation, and maintenance of Deutsche Bank's information security framework, under the guidance of the Chief Security Office and in alignment with the Third Party Risk Management process.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments of service providers to identify information security vulnerabilities.
- Facilitating and coordinating the Vendor Information Security Review processes.
- Recognizing security threats and discrepancies.
- Performing risk assessments and impact analyses of identified vulnerabilities.
- Developing remediation strategies based on the bank's standards and recognized industry best practices.
- Documenting identified discrepancies and associated risks from both technical and business perspectives.
- Strong analytical capabilities to thoroughly evaluate outsourced services within a reasonable timeframe, ensuring no critical issues are overlooked.
- Ability to articulate, document, and present information security risks clearly and concisely, with a talent for contextualizing these risks within a broader framework.
- Strategic thinker capable of working under pressure while proactively managing timelines and priorities.
- Experience in navigating and communicating within a complex global organization, enhancing compliance with internal policies while fostering relationships with senior management and service providers.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in IT Security and Information Security, encompassing both technical and organizational controls.
- Solid understanding of Risk Management principles.
- Familiarity with current industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements impacting information security.
- Fluency in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
