Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Analytics Engineer to become a vital part of our team at Douglas GmbH. In this role, you will focus on the technical dimensions of data processing tailored for analytics and machine learning/data science initiatives. Collaborating closely with data scientists and analysts, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of data needs and convert them into actionable technical strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data models.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.
- Automate processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor data operations and troubleshoot any arising issues.
- Uphold data governance standards to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or a related IT field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data and analytics. Proficiency in ETL development using SQL and dbt is essential, alongside advanced skills in data modeling. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and a foundational understanding of machine learning operations are also required. Fluency in both German and English is a must.
