Job Summary

As a Truck Driver at Spie, you will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles with and without trailers, as well as cranes, to transport goods and materials to our construction sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy goods vehicles with and without trailers, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using cranes and other equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to road safety and transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth logistics and delivery of goods.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to maintain a high level of safety awareness.

Requirements

  • Valid heavy goods vehicle driving license (CE category).
  • Desirable: crane and forklift operator qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
