About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Economics Consultant to join our team at DNV. As a key member of our Energy Markets and Strategy (EMS) team, you will provide economic and analytical advice to our clients on energy policy, economic regulation, and energy market design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement economic models to assess energy infrastructure investments and business models.
  • Provide strategic and analytical advice to clients on energy policy, economic regulation, and energy market design.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver consulting projects and develop expertise in economic regulation of electricity and gas networks.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of our services, including acquiring new projects and writing winning proposals.
About the Team

The EMS team is a dynamic and experienced group of professionals who provide economic and commercial advice on the energy sector to clients in the DACH countries and internationally. We focus on the energy transition and the impact of the switch to renewable energy resources.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with a specialization in energy economics and/or regulatory economics.
  • Several years of experience in the energy sector.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others.
