About the Role
Carnival Corporation and plc is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our marine service unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of our HVAC-R systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure the safe and efficient operation of HVAC-R systems on our vessels
- Plan and execute maintenance activities, including daily operations, improvements, and technical modifications
- Drive a safety and environmental protection culture through close collaboration with onboard and shore teams
- Conduct regular onboard inspections and project-related inspections
- Manage HVAC items and maintenance, including spares, consumables, and procedures
- Review and revise maintenance procedures and item setup in Infoship
- Structure and maintain HVAC-R documentation and information
Requirements
- Degree in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field
- Professional training or experience in project management is desirable
- Experience in HVAC-R systems on cruise ships, large ferries, or yachts is essential
- Proficiency in MS Office and administration programs, including Infoship, Amos, and similar
- Strong organization, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills
- Very good English language skills
