We are seeking software engineers with extensive expertise in relational database engine internals. Familiarity with PostgreSQL development and an understanding of distributed database principles will be advantageous.

AWS Utility Computing (UC) delivers product innovations ranging from foundational services like Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to a continuous stream of new product innovations that distinguish AWS's offerings in the industry.
As a member of the UC division, you will contribute to the development and management of services across Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Applications within AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in database engine development within a recognized database system
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
- 3+ years of programming experience
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience in designing system components
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL internals
