About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at apm Personal-Leasing GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and values.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop teams in procurement and logistics, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Liaison with Suppliers: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Global Sourcing and Vendor Qualification: Develop and manage global sourcing strategies and vendor qualification processes.
  • Group Procurement and Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement group-wide procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze current and potential suppliers, develop strategic alliances to ensure competitive pricing, flexible delivery times, high quality standards, and on-time delivery.
  • Contract Management: Manage supplier contracts in accordance with our procurement terms and conditions.
  • KPI Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure procurement processes are efficient and effective.
  • Logistics and Material Flow Process Management: Manage logistics and material flow processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Global Logistics and Strategic Projects: Develop and manage global logistics and strategic projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Budget and CAPEX Planning: Develop and manage budgets and capital expenditure plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a focus on business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement in an industrial B2B company, preferably in the special machinery industry.
  • IT Skills: High level of IT literacy, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP Business One).
  • Language Skills: Fluent English language skills, with the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel globally.
