About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Clearstream Banking AG. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal audit function and providing assurance to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute risk-oriented audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and implement audit programs to assess the effectiveness of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement control measures to prevent or detect fraud.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on audit findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure our internal audit function remains effective and relevant.
Requirements
- University degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA.
- Several years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
