Job Title: 3D Spatial Reconstruction Specialist
Become a vital member of our team at Porsche Engineering as a 3D Spatial Reconstruction Specialist. In this position, you will engage in the exploration of cutting-edge techniques in the domain of 3D spatial modeling, focusing on the development and application of various methodologies to create 3D representations from actual test drives and simulated imagery. You will also be tasked with integrating these models into multiple HD map frameworks and assessing the quality of the generated models within an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) simulation environment.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Media Informatics, or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Familiarity with sensor technologies such as LIDAR and camera systems
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning principles, NeRF, and Gaussian Splatting techniques
- Basic knowledge of driver assistance technologies and their simulation
- Excellent command of English communication skills
- A motivated team player with a focus on achieving objectives
