System and Application Administrator *in at BTC Gruppe

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team at BTC Gruppe as a System and Application Administrator. This role requires expertise in IT solutions and a proactive approach to implementing them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the implementation and development of new critical IT infrastructure applications for energy network management
  • Ensuring the operational readiness of network management systems
  • Owning defined processes and system migrations for both Windows and LINUX systems
  • Maintaining data models and documentation
  • Contributing ideas to enhance operational processes, such as transitioning towards Cloud technologies
  • Administering and managing critical IT infrastructure, systems, and applications for a successful energy transition

Requirements:

  • Completed IT-focused education or relevant MINT degree with experience in application management
  • Proficiency in high-availability IT system administration and operation
  • Experience with scripting, software development, Windows, LINUX, and virtualization technologies
  • Understanding of large-scale IT landscape organization, IT, and process intricacies
  • Responsible and safety-oriented mindset, willing to take initiative and support team projects when required
  • Flexibility for occasional on-site meetings and 24*7 remote availability
  • Fluent in German (minimum B2 level)
