Research Scientist for Predictive Mobility

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Development Cloud enabled Charging team at Mercedes-Benz AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative charging services for electric vehicles, focusing on predictive mobility behavior.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on predicting human mobility behavior and its constraints
- Analyze real mobility data from electric vehicle drivers to identify patterns and trends
- Develop and implement predictive algorithms to forecast user mobility behavior
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate predictive services into our vehicle backend
- Document research findings and results in a written manuscript
- Master's or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Proficient in MS Office and programming languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
