Job Overview:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of products specifically tailored for the automotive and aerospace sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Innovating and refining products in the domain of precision mechanical closure components.
  • Engaging in product development utilizing SolidWorks software.
  • Overseeing project management and effectively communicating developments to clients.
  • Performing feasibility assessments, engaging in technical discussions with suppliers, and conducting commercial evaluations.
  • Drafting specifications, project documentation, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Executing strength calculations, product qualification processes, planning, test support, and comprehensive report writing.
  • Supervising prototype fabrication, pre-series, and series production launches.
  • Collaborating efficiently with both internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with metal and plastic manufacturing processes.
  • Previous design experience is advantageous.
  • The capability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • A creative mindset and enthusiasm for mechanical solutions.
  • A positive demeanor and strong communication abilities.
  • A valid driver's license.
