Schlaadt Plastics GmbH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes while maintaining the highest quality standards.

As a Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing Production Processes: You will be responsible for managing the entire production workflow, ensuring that all stages adhere to established procedures and quality guidelines.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Leading, training, and motivating a team of skilled production operatives is a key aspect of this role. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment while providing guidance and support to your team members.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently managing material usage according to production plans will be crucial. This includes monitoring inventory levels, optimizing resource allocation, and minimizing waste.
  • Technical Expertise: You will possess a strong understanding of molding machine operation and maintenance. Your technical knowledge will enable you to troubleshoot issues effectively and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement: Identifying and resolving production bottlenecks, implementing process improvements, and reducing rework are essential aspects of this role.

Requirements:

  • A technical degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or manufacturing technology.
  • Solid understanding of control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a production environment is highly desirable.
  • A structured and responsible work ethic with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and management.
  • Reliability, dedication, flexibility, and willingness to work shifts are essential.
  • Proficiency in German is required.
