About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Application Engineering to lead our Automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS) Application Engineering team. As a trusted technical partner, you will be responsible for growing, mentoring, and developing a team of applications engineers to become the go-to advisors for our automotive customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of applications engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.
- Product Development: Own the development of product collateral, including EVBs, FW, demo application SW, user guides, data sheets, and technical documentation.
- Competitive Benchmarking: Perform competitive benchmarking to provide comparison data to shape our roadmap and promotion.
- Customer Partnership: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer technical teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Business Development: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and FAEs to identify and win business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in automotive Battery Management Systems electronics at automotive Tier 1 and/or Car OEMs
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience of technical teams in supporting customers and partners
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving capability to interface customer needs and resources with energetic and proactive approaches
- Language Skills: Very good command of German and English language
- Residency and Work Permit: Valid and existing residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country
