Senior Network EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our global network infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex network issues
- Conduct thorough technical analysis during troubleshooting processes, meticulously document all activities, and adhere to established procedural standards
- Continuously evaluate and implement innovative solutions to enhance existing network systems, actively seeking new technologies and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate closely with the security team to establish and maintain robust security measures that safeguard our network infrastructure and valuable data assets
- Generate comprehensive reports and findings for management, providing clear insights into network performance, identified issues, and implemented solutions
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the deployment, configuration, and architectural design of networking technologies, including routing, switching, and best practices for network security. At least 5 years of this experience must be in customer-facing roles.
- Proven expertise in network infrastructure design, implementation, administration, and maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in customer-facing positions
- In-depth understanding of PCBSA/PCNSE with Palo Alto Firewalls, including Panorama and Prisma Access
- CCNP certification or equivalent experience with Cisco switches, firewalls, and routers
- Commitment to high standards of quality in support and proven ability to work effectively in a global environment
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills, coupled with exceptional organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English
- Availability for international travel
