Join Our Team as a Flight Control Engineer

Digital Waffle is thrilled to collaborate with a pioneering aviation company in Germany, seeking a skilled Flight Control Engineer to drive innovation in flight control software development.

Your role will involve designing, implementing, and testing flight control systems, from concept to reality. You will work closely with the flight operations team to ensure seamless integration and qualification of the final software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop flight control software using MATLAB/Simulink and C programming
  • Integrate your code with other aircraft systems
  • Conduct continuous integration and testing
  • Track progress and report to key stakeholders
  • Qualify the final flight control software for use

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with flight control systems
  • Expertise in control theory, flight control concepts, and eVTOL flight dynamics
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C programming
  • Familiarity with Polarion and GIT for version control (bonus)

Important Note: This position requires a security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) with approval based on specific residency requirements.
