International HR Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International HR Manager to join our team at Help Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening our team by providing strategic HR support and guidance to our country offices and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR standards and processes in accordance with Help guidelines and local laws, ensuring compliance and consistency across the organization.
- Monitor and ensure the proper application of internal regulations, labor laws, and other relevant provisions, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
- Support the management of Help, the colleagues in Bonn, and the Country Directors in identifying HR-related developments and special topics, providing strategic recommendations and solutions.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and further development of HR topics, ensuring the translation of our strategy into concrete measures and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain digital personnel files, as well as support the setup of local payroll structures for national employees, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Several years of experience in international HR work, preferably in the humanitarian sector.
- Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in diverse cultural contexts.
- High level of resilience and adaptability, with the ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.
- Very good written and spoken English and French, with knowledge of German an advantage.
