Marketing Expert - Public Relations & Media Engagement

At SECO Northern Europe, we are committed to delivering tailored solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Marketing Expert specializing in Public Relations and Media Engagement, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility and media presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: You will be responsible for the creation and management of marketing content, including press releases, articles, and blog posts. Your focus will be on ensuring that all content aligns with the SECO brand and coordinating with external content creators.
  • Media Relations: You will assist in the formulation and execution of media strategies and campaigns aimed at increasing brand mentions and global media coverage.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will manage editorial calendars, maintain supplier relationships, and develop project timelines and evaluations. Timely delivery of content and media materials will be a key focus.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: You will work closely with global marketing teams across various regions, as well as with sales, product management, R&D, investor relations, and other departments to create PR and media campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. A technical background in hardware or software is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing, preferably within a B2B technology environment or a communications agency.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce high-quality content for diverse media and audiences.
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality results.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems, CMS, ERP, and CRM platforms is advantageous. Experience with InDesign/Photoshop and graphic design skills are also desirable.
  • Creative thinking with a keen sense of design and style, capable of tailoring communication channels to specific target audiences.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
