About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant/Project Manager to join our team at GOPA Infra GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from acquisition to implementation, with a focus on transport infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze project data, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, clients, and partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration;
  • Manage the acquisition process, including proposal development and staff recruitment;
  • Lead fact-finding missions to recipient countries, gathering critical information and insights;
  • Coordinate and supervise project implementation, ensuring technical and financial compliance;
  • Provide technical, administrative, and logistical support to project teams on site;
  • Manage donor, client, partner, and expert relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as transport infrastructure planning or civil engineering;
  • At least 5 years of experience in the transport sector, preferably in project management;
  • Proven experience in project acquisition and management, with a focus on transport infrastructure development;
  • Knowledge of donor procedures and requirements, particularly KfW, GIZ, and EU;
  • Generalist experience in several transport subsectors, including urban and rural road development;
  • Business fluent language skills in English and French;
  • Strong writing, communication, networking, and team-working skills;
  • Work experience abroad in target countries for development cooperation.
