Lead DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team at Understanding Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS, IaC, and containerized environments
  • Collaborate with the DevOps and Software Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment of applications
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and containerization
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, IaC, and containerized environments (Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
