We are looking for a dedicated student in the field of engineering or a related field to support us in the structural design and layout of the steel structure of our paper machine hood.

Your Tasks

  • Support us in the structural design and layout of the hood's steel structure.
  • Analyze and apply relevant standards and guidelines for design and dimensioning.
  • Create space models and technical drawings, as well as documentation.
  • Carry out calculations and simulations based on the load on the hood.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge from your studies in practice.
  • Participate in project meetings and work together with various departments.

Your Profile

  • You are an enrolled student in the field of engineering, mechanical engineering, design engineering, or a related field.
  • You have a good knowledge of design, steel construction, or technical mechanics and materials engineering, as well as basic knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines.
  • You have experience with CAD software and technical drawing; knowledge of FEM analyses is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of German or English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • You impress with your independent and structured way of working and your high willingness to learn.
  • Your profile is rounded off by your ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and your willingness to occasionally travel for up to one week.
