The Global Process Owner P2P is a key position within DB Schenker Global Business Services, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end P2P process and ensuring its alignment with global standards and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of the future global AP Workflow automation tool, including process and system adjustments.
- Manage interim set-ups and bridging solutions from existing AP applications to the future global tool landscape.
- Sign off on standardized P2P process documentation and local deviations.
- Establish and oversee process-related KPI targets in alignment with the business and supportive functions.
- Drive continuous process improvement, including oversight of the Continuous Improvement framework, technology, and future business needs.
- Collaborate with IT to maximize existing software potential and identify further automation opportunities.
- Monitor market trends in P2P and adopt best-in-class processes globally.
- Responsible for performance monitoring, benchmarking, and partnering with operations to achieve targets.
- Collaborate and conduct cross-functional alignment around P2P process roadmaps and strategy.
- Take ownership of the P2P roadmap definition and implementation.
- University degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in combination with disciplinary or functional leadership.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong Accounting and/or Procurement background along the P2P process and experience in various P2P systems.
- SAP Accounts payable knowledge.
- High affinity for technology and new solutions.
- Experienced in Global Process Owner Models and process methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Scrum).
- Experienced in designing and implementing lean processes in a Procurement or Accounting environment.
- Capable of managing optimization projects on a global level in a digital way.
- Strong assertiveness and ability to manage diverse project teams.
- Strong analytical and organizational working style.
- Well-developed communication skills and affinity for PowerPoint and other communication tools.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Customer-orientated team player with passion and power.
- Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and negotiation skills.
- Language competencies: Fluent in English.
- Leadership: The ability to lead, inspire, and influence people.
- Cross-functional Communication: Communicating effectively across various departments.
