Student Assistant in Business Analytics

Are you pursuing a degree in economics, business informatics, or a related field and eager to gain practical experience in dynamic business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives, particularly in purchasing and inventory management? We invite you to contribute to our Sourcing Analytics Projects team. This role offers you the chance to apply and enhance your academic knowledge through diverse responsibilities over a minimum period of 6 months.
Your Responsibilities
- You will play a vital role in assisting our team with the development of various reports and key performance indicators pertinent to purchasing, including inventory oversight, contract compliance, and risk assessments.
- You will also participate in establishing knowledge management systems for applications relevant to purchasing.
- Additionally, you will aid in defining, documenting, and advancing key performance indicators, ensuring their IBCS-compliant representation in reports and dashboards.
- Furthermore, you will support our daily operations, including testing activities, data validation, and correction tasks.
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a full-time program in economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, or a similar discipline (minimum of 3rd semester).
- Strong affinity for IT and numbers, coupled with effective communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP BI and VBA is beneficial but not essential; we are willing to provide training in these tools during your tenure.
- Possess analytical and solution-oriented thinking abilities.
- Demonstrate an independent work ethic and quick adaptability.
- Proficient in German and business-level English, both written and spoken.
