Role Overview
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the management and enhancement of our IT systems and services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fault Analysis and Resolution: You will engage in the analysis and resolution of faults at both 2nd and 3rd level support.
- System Administration: Implement, administer, and maintain IT systems, focusing on central availability and performance monitoring.
- Documentation and Concept Design: Design and implement operational concepts while ensuring comprehensive documentation is created and maintained.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects through realization, testing, and rollout phases, including the transition of projects to operational status.
- Vendor Management: Manage and monitor external partners and service providers effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in (business) informatics or a related field is required.
- Extensive practical experience in managing hybrid infrastructures, including on-premise, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Proven experience with complex heterogeneous server infrastructures and application servers.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies, including M365, Azure, and Windows Server technologies.
- Experience in implementing or managing availability and performance monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL, project management processes, network technologies, and Windows PowerShell.
- Basic experience with AI solutions is a plus.
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
