Job Title: Aerospace Engineer - Structural Design

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team at FERCHAU GmbH. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of metal structural components for the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop statically and dynamically loaded metal structural components for aerospace applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop module components considering function, ergonomics, cost, and weight
  • Utilize PLM systems to create and edit parts lists
  • Prepare module specifications, specifications, parts lists, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Coordinate module-specific tests to ensure quality and reliability
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce part variety and minimize costs through standardization

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in structural design and development for aerospace applications
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and CAD-3-D systems, preferably CATIA V5
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in German and English
