Job Title: Software Developer

GDIT is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Wiesbaden, Germany. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software and web applications to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software and web applications using various programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Work with business analysts to gather, define, validate, and test requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software and web development technical documentation.
  • Provide software process management and configuration management throughout the software/web development lifecycle.
  • Integrate new software and web products with existing software and web applications.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in software development.
  • Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of web software development principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in one or more web technologies, including HTML, Web Development Frameworks, and programming languages.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2016/SharePoint Online, including document libraries, lists, web parts, and related features.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS.
  • Experience with development in TypeScript and familiarity with various web development frameworks.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience building solutions using Office 365 platform products, Teams, SharePoint Online, and various other Office products.
  • Experience building business solutions using SharePoint SPFX.
  • Experience building web UI interface using React framework and associated toolchains.
  • Experience building back-office automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform with Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI.
  • Experience building web solutions using ASP.Net Core with C#.
  • Experience working with backend data storage with MS SQL database.
  • Experience building custom business applications with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
  • Experience working with Git for code commits, code branching, and code review via pull requests.
  • Experience working in a collaborative development team using Agile methodology.

The salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, but rather a range based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

This is a full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours and no travel required. Telecommuting options are available on-site.
