About JTI's Industrial Mechanic Apprentice Program

Overview

• JTI, a leading international tobacco and vaping company, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Industrial Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Trier.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
• Learn and apply basic principles of metalworking and manufacturing processes
• Perform manual and machine-based processing of various materials
• Understand and interpret technical documents and diagrams
• Conduct maintenance, repair, and assembly tasks on machinery and equipment
• Set up and operate production equipment and machinery
• Work with pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and control technology
• Document all maintenance activities and tasks
• Utilize digital tools and software for work tasks and projects

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of secondary education and strong knowledge in math and science
• Technical aptitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
