We are looking for professionals with a strong background in operations and internal controls to tackle diverse risk domains such as compliance, process enhancement, technology integration, legal considerations, and program oversight.
In this position, you will spearhead a team dedicated to evaluating the risk environments of Amazon's logistics and transportation operations.
Your role will involve working alongside legal, finance, and compliance departments to strengthen compliance initiatives, which includes performing risk evaluations, developing governance frameworks, and reviewing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess regulatory and compliance risks associated with third-party carriers.
- Evaluate the compliance status of both new and existing third-party carriers, and investigate any suspicious activities.
- Conduct comprehensive risk and control evaluations that align with the strategic objectives of the company.
- Facilitate the execution of business requirements, controls, and enhancements to processes.
- Be prepared to travel up to 20% of the time on short notice.
- Proficiency in the German language is essential.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in audit, risk management, or compliance within the transportation or logistics sectors.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- Strong data analysis capabilities with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the transportation or supply chain industry.
- A background in risk mitigation, fraud prevention, compliance, or internal controls.
- Project management experience.
- Relevant certifications in risk, audit, or compliance fields.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
