Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced professional to take on the role of Subject Matter Expert in the Automotive Software domain. This position requires a strong background in customer engagement and technical consulting.
Key Qualifications:
· Demonstrated expertise in the Automotive Software Industry, particularly in client-facing roles.
· Proficient in HIL/SIL testing, Co-Simulation, Virtual ECUs, and Embedded Systems.
· Familiarity with tools such as dSPACE Scalexio, VEOS, Vector Canoe, VVT, Synopsys SILVER, and VDKs.
· Previous experience in the modeling and simulation of automotive systems.
· Knowledge of AUTOSAR, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Software Defined Vehicles.
· Strong connections within the German and European Automotive ecosystem.
· Excellent communication skills in both German and English (C1 level).
· Experience with DevOps practices and Cloud technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Grasp KPIT's Virtual Engineering and DevOps solutions and effectively communicate these to clients to foster interest.
· Analyze and interpret client requirements and align them with KPIT's offerings and competencies.
· Identify potential customer challenges and market opportunities, creating new business avenues through technical consulting and solutions.
· Provide insights to enhance KPIT's offerings based on client feedback and market trends.
· Assist in defining technology roadmaps and investment proposals to address client and market demands.
· Lead the response to RFQs and RFPs.
· Collaborate with offshore SMEs and project leaders in estimation, high-level project planning, and developing compelling customer propositions.
· Facilitate the initiation and stabilization of offshore projects through knowledge transfer and customer coordination.
