Vestas, a world leader in wind energy, offers you the opportunity to join our team as a Service Technician for Wind Turbines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the inspection and repair of gearboxes and generators at our wind energy facilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including gearbox and generator maintenance
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with wind turbine components
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe work practices
- Document work activities using digital tools
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work at heights and in challenging environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft and iOS operating systems
- Valid driver's license
- Language proficiency in English (B2 level) and German (B1 level)
