Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. As a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial insights, reliable data, and analysis to support business decisions. Your expertise will help us drive business growth, improve financial performance, and maintain our position as a leader in the cruise industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support finance teams with timely and accurate financial data and analysis
  • Partner with finance teams and Brands Controlling/FP&A groups to collaborate on business reviews, metrics, and goals
  • Identify and understand business challenges, propose solutions, and develop key performance indicators
  • Dive deeply into financial data to provide additional insights and become a subject matter expert
  • Investigate variances to plan, forecast, and prior year, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Work on corporate, local, or brand projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Review and design finance procedures to optimize and improve effectiveness

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required
  • At least five years of experience in finance, management, controlling, or accounting or a related field
  • Strong experience in developing financial reports, metrics, and presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with different management levels
  • Poweful Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory. Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, QlikView, and Power BI is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication and to drive projects across an organization
  • Very good English (English is our company's official language). Any other additional language is a plus
