Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement simulation models to predict conducted wave propagation and radiated emissions in electrical aircraft propulsion components.
- Convert aerospace requirements and standards into design solutions that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute verification experiments, analyze measurement data, and interpret results to ensure electromagnetic compatibility.
- Contribute to the development of an interdisciplinary, iterative electrical propulsion system design process.
- MSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics with a specialization in High Frequency Electromagnetics, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of conducted and radiation waves, equivalent circuit modeling, and simulation skills.
- Proficient programming skills, including experience with finite element analysis and method of moments.
- Good physical knowledge of electrical drive systems and electromagnetic interference between components.
- Experience with electromagnetic compatibility standards, such as RTCA/DO-160G.
- Excellent English language skills.
