About the Role
Amazon Logistics is on the lookout for a BIE Fleet Efficiency Specialist to join our EU Fleet Procurement and Capacity (FPAC) team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our fleet operations and optimizing our resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative analytical solutions to tackle broader organizational challenges.
- Adopt a holistic perspective in evaluating business processes, facilitating enhancements across various teams and departments.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives, ensuring their successful execution.
- Drive operational excellence in all programs by partnering with relevant stakeholders.
A Day in the Life
The Last Mile Rentals (LMR) expansion team collaborates with external partners to implement fleet sharing initiatives within Amazon Logistics. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a more adaptable fleet.
Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation using tools such as Redshift, Oracle, and NoSQL.
- Skilled in data visualization with platforms like Tableau or Quicksight.
- Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and constructing ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
- Competent in SQL for data extraction and scripting in Python for data processing.
- Background in the data/BI sector.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data mining and ETL processes, particularly with large-scale, intricate datasets in a business context.
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
