About Us
At Nova Spraytec, we are an innovative startup focused on developing cutting-edge construction robotics.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Workshop Technician/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in the production and assembly of metal components and structures, ensuring that we uphold the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Execute metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, drilling, grinding, and shaping metal profiles and materials in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Utilize and maintain a variety of tools and machinery, such as milling machines, saws, drills, and grinders.
- Assemble and fit metal components to create finished products or structures, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze technical drawings and blueprints, offering suggestions for enhancements when necessary.
- Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance, identifying defects or discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in metal fabrication.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning workshop environment, reporting any equipment issues or maintenance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience as a Workshop Technician or in a comparable metal fabrication position.
- Expertise in metal cutting, grinding, and shaping techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with metalworking machinery and tools.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a startup atmosphere.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of German (B1) is a plus.
- Physical capability to manage heavy metal materials and equipment.
