As a (Senior) Data Analyst at PENNY, you will play a crucial role in shaping the shopping experience for millions of customers, addressing intricate analytical questions.
- Delivering Value: As a (Senior) Data Analyst, you will independently drive exciting and challenging Advanced Analytics projects in the grocery sector, optimizing decision-making processes sustainably while taking a leading role in the Data Science strategy and unlocking business potential.
- Managing the Product Lifecycle: You will oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of complex models and machine learning pipelines for use cases in forecasting, classification, recommendation, and scoring, ensuring continuous quality control.
- Keeping the Big Picture in Mind: You will manage structured and unstructured data across various database systems (e.g., GCP/BigQuery, Snowflake) and analysis frameworks (e.g., Hadoop/Spark).
- Collaborating Effectively: You will work collaboratively in agile, interdisciplinary teams to develop analytical products and proactively engage with the business and internal stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights.
- Leading by Example: You will provide technical guidance and coaching to junior colleagues, developing standards and ensuring best practices in methodology and coding are applied.

- Your Programming Skills: Proficient programming skills with practical experience in Python and SQL, familiarity with common Data Science libraries and tools such as scikit-learn, pandas, Matplotlib, and Jupyter, and experience with Big Data frameworks like Apache Spark.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of professional software development methods, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerization (Kubernetes) is a plus.
